Explanation of Collection Activity
RECEIVE ACCOUNT RECORDS ELECTRONICALLY OR MANUALLY
- All data entry is completed daily, with acknowledgments and notices printed and mailed daily to client and customers. Agency is capable of receiving accounts electronically or manually. Each account is given a five day grace period to allow the notice to be received, before initial phone contact is attempted.
AUTOMATIC COMPUTER SEARCH OF EXISTING ACCOUNTS LOOKING FOR INFORMATION MATCH
- Accounts are automatically matched with others by name, address, social security number, phone number, etc. All collectors are extensively trained in laws governing the collection industry. Our collectors are all certified as "Collection Specialists" through the American Collectors Association. All collectors must receive training and pass a test administered through ACA, with a passing grade of at least 80%.
REPRESENTATIVE CALLS FOR SATISFACTION OF DEBT
- Collectors are trained to ask for payment in full on initial contact. If payment in full is not feasible, collectors are trained to obtain specific payment arrangements to satisfy the debt in the shortest time possible.
BALANCES GREATER THAN $50.00 ARE REPORTED TO CREDIT AGENCIES AFTER 30 DAYS
- Express Recovery is on-line with the three major credit reporting agencies that cover the nation Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. Express can instantly pull credit reports from all three agencies. We report delinquent balances to credit agencies after 30 days.
REFER TO LEGAL COUNSEL IF ARRANGEMENTS ARE NOT MET
- If debtor fails in their obligation, legal action may be required. Express Recovery retains legal counsel for this purpose, which provides a fluent transition from standard collection procedures to legal action. All normally incurred legal costs are paid up front by Express Recovery Services.
